Shopping in USA but in Madrid - De compras en Estados Unidos pero en Madrid

Last weekend I was shopping in a store that I had never been to, this store sells American and European products although they focus on American products especially.

El pasado fin de semana estuve de compras en una tienda que no había estado nunca, esta tienda vende productos americanos y europeos aunque se centran en los productos americanos sobre todo.

The store is called Costco Wholesale and is in Getafe. To enter to buy it is necessary to be a partner of the store, for this you have to pay € 30 that will be returned once you stop being a member if you have been more than 1 year.

La tienda se llama Costco Wholesale y está en Getafe. Para entrar a comprar hace falta ser socio de la tienda, para ello tienes que pagar 30€ que se te devolverán una vez dejes de ser socio si lo has sido más de 1 año.

Personally I really liked the store, it is giant, there is everything and is the ideal place to buy American products at good price and without leaving Spain. I'm going to give a review of everything I saw that I liked and that was peculiar.

Personalmente me gustó mucho la tienda, es gigante, hay de todo y es el lugar ideal para comprar productos americanos a buen precio y sin salir de España. Voy a dar un repaso a todo lo que vi que me gustó y que me resultó peculiar.

Clothes and complements - Ropa y complementos

As a good American store, you can not miss Levi's jeans or Michael Kors handbags. The prices are very good, the men's jeans are €39.99, they are very cheap and from the handbags, my wife told me they were cheap too, as you will understand, I have no idea of handbags.

Como buena tienda americana, no pueden faltar los pantalones vaqueros Levi's ni los bolsos Michael Kors. Los precios son muy buenos, los de los pantalones de hombre son 39,99€, son muy baratos y de los bolsos, mi mujer me dijo que eran baratos también, como comprenderéis, no tengo ni idea de bolsos.

Sports articles - Artículos deportivos

Let's go to my favorite section, to the sports section. There were plenty of products, of any sport, nothing to envy to other stores specialized in sport. There were gym machines, basketball hoops ... lots of things. But what struck me the most were footballs. I had never seen so many in a store together, just like the Spalding basketballs.

Vamos a mi sección favorita, a la sección deportiva. Había infinidad de productos, de cualquier deporte, nada que envidiar a otras tiendas especializadas en deporte. Había máquinas de gimnasio, canastas de baloncesto... muchísimas cosas. Pero lo que más me llamó la atención fueron los balones de fútbol americano. Nunca había visto en una tienda tantos juntos, al igual que los balones de baloncesto Spalding.

Alcohol

The alcohol also seemed very cheap, especially the packs in which they could buy for example three bottles, in those cases it was very economical. There was also a lot of high quality premium alcohol, but there I no longer know how is its price.

El alcohol también me pareció muy barato, sobre todo los packs en los que se podían comprar por ejemplo tres botellas, en esos casos salía muy económico. Como no podía ser de otra forma, no podía faltar la mítica Budweiser. Por ejemplo el ron Cacique yo lo vi muy barato, no bebo ron pero creo que el precio está muy bien. También había mucho alcohol premium de alta calidad, pero ahí ya no sé valorar como es su precio.

This bottle of giant champagne has a high price, I could not tell if the bottle is expensive or cheap :P

Esta botella de champagne gigante tiene un precio alto, no sabría decir si la botella es cara o barata :P

Meat - Carne

If anything you can not miss in an American store are the giant beef steaks and burgers and there they were. The cold area where they had the meat was awesome, there was lots of variety and everything looked great. If you're going to make a good quality BBQ, do not even think about it, go.

Si algo no puede faltar en una tienda americana son los filetes gigantes de carne y las hamburguesas y allí estaban. La zona frigorífica donde tenían la carne era impresionante, había muchísima variedad y todo tenía una pinta excelente. Si vas a hacer una buena barbacoa de calidad, ni lo pienses, ve.
