When our ship was in a storm, i asked my captain why he was donning his life jacket, why he had called ahead and asked for a box of flares and why on earth he was lowering the life boat down.. loaded with meals..
He asked me to please not make any quarterback assumptions about anyone including himself.
I took this photo and now i will wax lyrical about the color, the sound of it, the solid design of it, but no... I am not going anywhere on a bike.
The photo is completely unrelated to the message of this post. I wish to steer clear of saying what I mean. I'm following the example of influential people here that do the same every day. Here's another photo. 
Maybe I can make a twenty minute video chastising ignorant people for panicking or speaking emotionally about topics that affect them. Or maybe I will just post another Harley pic
This way I needn't commit myself to those who trusted me all along, and besides, videos have a tendency to display anxiety in my voice.
Maybe I can talk about quality posts and how to curate .. but I prefer Harley pics instead
I have advice about voting, make sure of their principles, honesty, values and if they don't support censorship under the guise of quality or bullying minnows into limiting the choices they make with voting services. Much like this harley 
Genuine leather is better than vinyl, listen to the sound of it, don't ask about its place on the command deck. Remember, this is not real life or a ship, and we are just small investors. Large investors have every right to do whatever is financially best we are just quarterbacks. If whatever they say, do, or how they act, causes the ship to sink, that's too bad. I am a six month old minnow member.
We live in Wisconsin and Harley's are obviously very popular here.
I choose no voting services. Simple.
I vote for nothing I do not like nor do I post a negative comment. So easy to ignore.
I truly appreciate the people I connect with.
I ask just one thing....why do people vote on a post that has a question in it if they do not wish to offer an answer?

I have never been to America but from what I have seen, it looks like an absolutely beautiful place for motorcycles like the Harley. I wish one day to own one of my own! The voting to which I referred here was witness votes - and it refers to a witness who posted a video condemning people who express fear and uncertainly about the new EOS token. His constant allusions to the virtues of EOS on this platform especially lead to fear and powering down on THIS platform. I was really upset and told him so, because some of us place our savings and effort here, believing in witnesses to do the same. If people take their money elsewhere, they should really do it quietly if they are a number 11 witness who has risen to the top by getting the support of minnows like ourselves along with larger accounts as well. I should keep my stupid mouth shut too, because they will soon tell me how I know nothing and have invested a pittance so I should shut up. Some people are extremely arrogant (a lot of money, in the upper-class financial bracket, believe they are high class, but lack class and manners).
I believe firmly in the adage that manners make man, and how lovely it is to know people with good manners like yourself :-) Have a wonderful week.

I agree this is a sh@tpost, but why to you need to take 87% of a bot for it and ruin the returns for yourself and the other guy at the same time? You are in a place where no one care if you hurt yourself but at least try to get returns on the bidbots.

I have no idea what you are on about - I am not losing a cent. Instead of powering-up my SBD I am using it to promote my post and am hurting no one in the process. Thanks for the useless advice anyway. You may have been outbid, I shall have to take a look. All my payouts are at least more than 8% of investment which is enough for me as it is more than what I would get by simple power up.
I often place bids early and sometimes late depending on how much is already bid in that round. I also negotiate and discuss matters like these with bid bot owners, so I think it is you who should learn how to use bid bots, not me.
8% is a loss. If you have a 20% curation rate on your posts, the bot needs to pay over 80%, or you will lose sbd. Maybe the bot owners are not giving you the right math.

I didn't over bid anything. I consider anything above 8% as reasonable price to pay to promote a post. Also, curation rewards are my supporters gains, and in no way can be seen as my loss.

If you are getting an 8% return, you are paying about 62% for that privilege. I too use the bots in part to reward my real voters and some of them notice and thank me.
Congrats on better bidding today, and I hope you continue. Many small people are in there and do not have your level of knowledge or ability to throw money away, so you help them with better rewards as well. There are not many ways for small minnows to get rewards here, so the less bot crashing, the better.
