My idea of success would indeed be 'having steem be a legitimate source of weekly income that puts food on the table.' In fact, that's how the platform was sold to me back in the spring of 2017.

I've been feeding at the trough ever since and I reckon I will continue to feed, as I really have nothing to lose lol. While I can ill afford to shovel much money into it, I can spend time here, and find I enjoy it, for the most part, though I no longer expect it to be my path to retirement (cough cough).

My posts don't amount to squat and I am curious to see how the curation angle will work out. We'll see in a week's time, I guess.
