Tokushima, mima Hapan

So my travels have brought me to Mima City in Tokushima prefecture. Mima is Beautiful Horse or 美馬 because at one time this place was known for horses. A small duing town the people have been making efforts to revitalize their city.

The town is beautifully set in the mountains. I checked into the local guest house where the wonderful staff was always happy to answer questions. With two beautiful children running around their place is definitely lively at times.

Walking down the street, the people are very friendly and open to questions. I get the impression that they still don’t receive too many visitors so also brace for curious stares and smiles.

MY favorite part of the city is the fact that it’s set right in a beautiful green Valley and alot of the old architecture which I was told was unique to this region of Japan.

Overall beautiful place if you want to sit down relax and let the world slip by.
