Sheila E ! Reluctant Sex Symbol Astrological Reading By Jamillah Muhammad
As a student of Fitrah Science, I’ve learned that astrology is an art and science that’s incorporated in many scriptures. Amir Fatir has been teaching me astrology and he feels I’m ready to interpret my first chart. I chose Sheila E because, Number One, I just love Prince. His music takes me on a spiritual journey and comforts me when I need it. When Prince tragically died, I thought of how terrible Sheila E must feel. My heart went out to her. She loved Prince so much and so unselfishly. For all astrological purposes, she was his real wife even if they never signed a con-tract to make it official. When I told Amir I’d chosen Sheila, he said, “EXCELLENT CHOICE”!
Sheila was born with the Sun in Sagittarius. Physically, Sagittarius creates lovely thighs, hips, and behind. Sagittarians love to be free of responsibility, yet they are generous and adventurous. Saturn close to her Sun gives Sheila restraint and makes her less than comfortable with the Super sexy image Prince envisioned for her. Being sexy is natural for her, but flaunting her sexuality makes her uncomfortable. Saturn conjunct the Sun indicates that Sheila is a “Daddy’s girl”. It also makes her age very slowly. As the creator of form, Saturn gives Sheila a nice, lean figure. Because the Sun rules her House of Marriage, which is the 7th house, Sheila feels most herself in marriage or partnership. Venus is in the 12th house, i.e., sorrows. Venus is the planet of love, beauty, marriage, and relationships. This shows poor Sheila has experienced more than her fair share of romantic sorrow. Venus is in Aquarius, indicating beautiful legs and dancing ability. She has both. (smile) Venus near Sheila’s ascendant --- that’s the cusp of the First House, the source of her inner beauty, a beauty that shines outward as physical beauty. Sheila has Aquarius rising. Physically, that tends to ankle, calve, circulatory and respiratory ailments unless preventive measures ----- both physical and spiritual-----are taken. She’s very electric and attracts loads of attention. Venus in opposition to Uranus gives her strong sex appeal but gets her into strange and unusual relationships. Uranus near the 7th gave her an unconventional marriage that Pluto, the death planet, ended with Prince’s death. Virgo rules work. Pluto in Virgo says her love relationships are mostly connected with her work. She also has to really work on relationships because her career and travel can be a relationship killer. With a Virgo moon, Sheila loves to work and sometimes she’s married to her work. This can make a boyfriend or husband feel left out. Sheila has Gemini on her 5th house ruling sex, pleasure, and romance. And who was a Gemini? Yup, PRINCE. Mercury, Gemini’s ruler, is in Sheila’s 11th house. That means lovers tend to be or remain friends. The line dividing friendship and lover gets blurred. Sheila’s Part of Fortune, Jupiter and Neptune are in her 8th house ----- the second Sex House. Sheila derives fortune from her sexy image and is generally open-minded (Jupiter) about sex. But Neptune, a very spiritual influence, and Saturn in her House of Public image (10th) makes her reticent about having a sex symbol persona. Unlike Vanity, she would never present herself as just a sex kitten. Sheila E, above all, is an artist who just happens to be sexy and beautiful, not a sexy woman moonlighting as an artist.
