Shazam 2's Box Office Run is Already Over.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods is already virtually at the end of its box office run after just four weeks in theaters. The first Shazam! was one of the best-reviewed movies in the DCEU, and its lower budget helped compensate for its softer box office results, with critic and audience approval giving hope for bigger numbers from its sequel. Unfortunately, Shazam! Fury of the Gods failed to recapture the magic with critics or at the box office despite a positive audience sentiment.
Having earned just $55.6 million at the domestic box office and $122 million worldwide, Shazam! Fury of the Gods earned just $4.6 million in its third weekend and now dropped to less than $2 million in its fourth weekend as its already hitting on-demand digital platforms for home viewing. Considering the rate its box office revenue is dropping and the fact that it's already available on digital, it's not likely to earn more than a few million dollars more at best domestically, assuming it even remains for another week or two.
