A dog is more than just a pet. They are a wonder that teaches us important lessons even when they don’t intend to, it just happens and we just learn. Things like optimism, like when they wag their tails even when they’re about to get scolded for chewing another shoe; courage , like how they chase away a fly that’s about to land on our skin; or being attentive and protective as they bark at the least suspicious things or that stranger that passed the house or the delivery guy whom they will never trust; patience , like how they wait behind the door all day until we come back home from school, work or what! Who cares? They’ll still show enthusiasm and won’t care as long as we’re home! There are a lot really but their undying loyalty and trust has got to be one of the remarkable things they characterise that us ,people, can never outweigh or learn easily. I bet they’re the best when it comes to that.

Big or small, stray or not they all share the same unconditional love and have taught and showed different beautiful things to the people they’ve met. They are more than just dogs, they are a WONDER. A ray of sunshine that passes happiness just by their mere presence. THEY ARE A FAMILY. Those that makes the house complete!

SHARING TIME

Dogs played an important role in my childhood, in fact, they were my childhood. I grew up being surrounded with such loyal hairy friends because every single house in my neighbourhood (but likely a family compound) owns a dog and I am friends with all of them!

Our neighbourhood has never been quiet, there are barkings almost every minute! It’s a hassle especially in the midnight but mornings are always filled with greetings and waggling tails.

LET ME SHARE ABOUT MY DOG
This is my dog URSULA (like the villain in the “Little Mermaid”) with a nickname of SOUL. She was born on the 1st of November or the all soul’s day,thus, the meaning behind her name.

I have loved her from the very first day she was born just like all the other dogs that came to be a part of my life.

She happens to be the daughter of my old dog who passed away. She loves snack, has a thing for lizards, will bark to a sock, loves to sneak out of the house and will chase every little thing she thinks isn’t supposed to be inside or a part of the house.

She is an effortless model.


and this is SHAQ/SHUCKIE/CHUCKIE there are endless variations lol but he’s named after a chocolate drink because of his fur!

He hates pictures but will pose anyway!

He’s Lazy, snob, will bark only when it’s necessary, and is very odd. A one old dog.

These dogs are are two of the furry buddies that have showed amazing things to me even when the world seemed to have flipped! I love them and I call them my babies lol judge me 😂 I won’t care! THEY’RE FAMILY....
