Share Your World Contest #2

After the success of and enthusiastic participation in my first Share Your World Contest I am offering another one. I also had a lot of fun and enjoy reading about how people live all over the world. Not just the kind of insight one could gain from googling it but real-life experiences and perspectives.

This then is also my opportunity to announce that I will be offering four of these contests in total. I may revisit the idea later if it proves to be successful but this project will be limited in duration. Right now I am on a drive to collect as many @steembasicincome shares as possible while the price is this low. You can benefit from it by entering this and other contests but, however you do it, I recommend that you collect as many shares as possible while the going is cheap.

Share Your World contest

One of the things that excite me the most about Steemit is the opportunity to engage with people from all over the world. Somebody once said:

You will find that I am just like you. And you will find that I am nothing like you.

I want to use this opportunity to find out about your world. Here is the question.

Tell us about your favourite public holiday in your country. Give us some information on why and how you celebrate it. A personal perspective or experience of you celebrating it would also be welcome.

Rules

1. Create a post to share this with us.
2. The post should be at least 300 words.
3. Place a link to that post in the comments here. This will be your entry and will be acknowledged by being given a number.
4. At least seven people need to enter for prizes to be awarded.
5. I am looking for something that will give us insight into your world. A personal experience or perspective will count for a lot.
6. The winners will be announced on Saturday, 1 September 2018. Last entries will be accepted on Friday, 31 August 2018.
7. Use #shareyourworld as your first tag. (This is new)

3. A @steem-bounty of 3 Steem will be created on this post.

5. I will upvote each entry (your comment here) at 50% and your actual post at 100%

Two quick announcements

1. This is the first time I'm using the tag #shareyourworld. It would be awesome if more people started to get creative around this idea. I'm sure there are more people out there interested in your world.
2. It is also the first time that I am using the tag #steemitbloggers. This is an amazing discord community that recently accepted me. I am very excited about what I have found there and you should investigate them too.
