So we are at a little over a half million users not a half billion. The @steem account doesnt have enough currency in it to delegate to that many new accounts.
Edited my post! Thank you for this info. Very valuable! Can't beleive we have so few users. We really are the first adopters. Imagine once it hits 1 million!
We will have troubles hitting the 1million without some changes around the platform. We added 50k accounts thusfar in january and as a result the delegated amount to new accounts was halved from 30Sp in early january to 15SP after January 8.
