Here we are at the end of week 7 and what a brilliant week it was, we had one of our largest number of entrants so far. What's more so many of those entries were just freakin amazing in quality and we really couldn't be more thrilled.

Also this week we had two Communities Choice judges in the running, @ylich still won out with his selection. But the amazing @eugelys also made a selection for @esthersanchez's awesome performance, leaving a lovely review so be sure to go check them out as well!

One of our favourite part's of this contest is the Communities Choice, not only because it gives a voice to the community at large. It also shows how much our amazing musicians support one and other, which I is why I will mention that anyone can get involved in the Communities Choice.

That means you don't have to have entered, commented or have any official musical knowledge and just know what you like. This is not only a way for our entrants to support each other, but also for steemians and groovers in general to get involved and have their say on which entry they loved most.

So be sure to check out all our entrants each week, judging is open for Communities Choice for both all of the entry time - but also during the judges selection time, meaning there is 96 hours to vote and have your favourite entry win!

Just amazing to see someone, when it appears the instrument they play is just an extension of themselves. The playing is just perfection, you never miss a note, you create an amazing flow through all of the tempo changes, you have a great mix of volume to emphasize specific moments more.

Really an incredible performance that is only more amazing when you take your age into consideration, I was absolutely enthralled by your performance. "Well I had absolutely no option this week, you were first from the instant I heard you. This is just such an unbelievable original entry, I was shocked last week to learn you did originals (still not sure if I just missed this over ages, or you are branching out and sharing your own music is new). But either way I am just absolutely delighted to hear you entries of late, they are truly incredible on every level.

Your entries over the past few weeks have been absolutely brilliant, but these last two you took things to a whole new level. Your vocal control is just phenomenal, you display such an intense vocal range and the best part is how you choose to implement it.

Those high notes.... wow well ok they are stunning, there is such a beauty to the composition and implementation of the melody you have created. I want to sing along with you but feel like my atrocious attempts at mimicking Spanish would tarnish the beauty of this song.

Your playing is the perfect accompaniment, you never overpower your vocals and it is there to highlight the melody - but also has unique and interesting elements of its own. This is just a nice sound for the ear, if that makes sense - its just enjoyable on a base level without dissecting and analysing it.

The lyrics being translated, I always assume there will be some clunky-ness in the message that's lost in translation. But I was entranced by the melancholy lyrics, that so perfectly suited the sweet sadness of the music and melody."

So there you have it another amazing week for SGL, with so many brilliant performers no wonder our judges are having a bit of a hard time with their selections. But I will again mention that due to circumstances beyond his control @pechichemena got his selections and post out, but could not include reviews. Also the lovely @zipporah has her post coming out tomorrow, but again her selections were included and in on time so our results could go ahead.
