Steem Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 2 Match Prediction Results and a poll for the Prize Pool
Hey everyone! Firstly I apologize for writing this post a bit late, been super busy lately and it takes a lot of time to manually go through the predictions of each participant on the Match Results and to check who was closest and won.
This week we had a really close race with 12 participants having guessed 6 correct predictions!
Congratulations to @fajri, @jwolf, @luism86, @praz735u5, @sportsgeek, @creativewoman, @miniature-tiger, @patcole02, @raisul, @howtostartablog, @harryp3, @lifebitesized! You will all be sharing the prize of 33 SD with each other!
The only participant to have guessed Stoke to win against Arsenal (@captaincanary ) had 5 correct guesses and didn't qualify for a prize unfortunately.
The current prize pool for the Steem Fantasy Premier League is now at 154 SD + 120 Steem = $310 after 2 Gameweeks!
Having said that I wanted to take the time to create a quick poll for the community to decide how they want to divide the prize pool between Steem Dollars and Steem. So far it has been 50/50 but since we all here are hoping that Steem will increase in value over time, especially after a year when the season is over I wanted to let everyone vote for which they would prefer to have it sitting on instead.

This is how the prize pool will be divided by the end of the season:
1st place will receive 30% of the total SBD.
2nd place will receive 15% of the total SBD.
3rd place will receive 10% of the total SBD.
4th-10th place will receive 3% each of the total SBD.
11th-23rd place will receive 1% each of the total SBD
24th-48th place will receive 0.5% each of the total SBD making it 100% of the SDB rewards.

Finally i have been dying for this post. Btw Champions League will start and Uefa.com is organizing a fantasy on their site. I have already made a post about it but no wonder ...it got no views. What do you think about making a league there too?
I think it would become too much for my votes to support as I am spending most voting power for @ocd and other various curation guilds lately.

I think you can just select somebody who is willing to manage such a competition and just resteem his fantasy posts. That will be a great contribution with no voting power expenses.

For the prize fund I think it makes sense to have it sitting in Steem (actually in Steem Power and used to upvote the contest if not too complex) and I have voted as such, although since I'm already facing a relegation battle it's not going to be my money!

is it too late to register in league site? i want to participate fo bigger pool too and season is long :) if possible link too. Arsenal was tough to predict last week
Gameweek 2 was unfortubately the last one, I might make an exception for those that already have a team ongoing before GW2 and have an active and verified Steemit account but the disadvantage of joining now and being after 2 gameweeks might be too big to compete.
I was going to plead for an exception as well. I've had a team going since before the season began, but the league I had been in fell apart this year.
I'm kicking myself for not more thoroughly seeking out and finding your league earlier. I did join the other one (late) that @herverisson is running (you'll see my team "Wassup" over there). But when I saw that you had a deadline on yours I didn't want to just jump into that one without asking first, just to have you kick me out for being late.
At the end of the day, I don't care about the disadvantage. I just want to play!

Yeah I've been thinking about automating it somehow but haven't come up with any good solutions yet.
May be you can just make a Google Form to collect all forecasts. The only drawback is that after sending it participants will not have chance to edit it.
Pay someone to do it 👍🏾 I'm not volunteering by the way!
