Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 16 Review and Tips-3 week outlook, one's to watch and captain picks!
It's Gameweek 16 already and i'm sure there's many of us that need David DeGea to save our fantasy year! He's probably the only one that can do it right?
Superb display of football by Arsenal, only to be denied 14 times by David Degea! Yes, 14 times! A premier league record.
City look like they are not going to stop soon, Klopp's Red's seem to be kicking into gear, Spurs are going through a unique little struggle, Chelsea have hit a good run on consistent performances. So the big question comes into play on where do we invest? This question is especially true in the coming weeks, with the influx of fixtures there is bound to be plenty of rotation from managers! Let's get into it!
3 Week Outlook
Crystal Palace- Palace have shown steady performances and are unbeaten in their last 4. With 2 home games against Bournemouth and Watford they will be hoping they can turn some of those draws into wins. The next 2 gameweeks can see the Eagles climb out of the relegation zone and could be the turning point in their season. Their 3rd game away to Leicester is a tough one but I can see palace grabbing at least 5 of the 9 points over the next 3 Gameweeks.
Chelsea- The fixtures continue to be a blessing for Chelsea with struggling West Ham, Huddersfield and inconsistent Southampton in their next 3, Chelsea will look to continue their good form into 2019. Hazard and Morata remain key.
One's to Watch
Mamadou Sakho- Sakho has been an instrumental pillar in Palace's performances over the last few Gameweeks, scoring 28 points in the last 3 games Sakho always finds himself grabbing bonus points as well. If you've got space for a 5M defender Sakho is a strong option.
Phillipe Coutinho- Missing most of the opening of the season and with so much of controversy surrounding him Coutinho hasn't played much gaming minutes. However, if you look at the games he has played, he has been absolutely phenomenal! While Salah is selected by 54% of Fantasy managers, Coutinho offers a great differential if you do feel brave enough to put him in. Returning 63 points in just 660 minutes, it's incredible. After a superb display in the champions league, the only question mark on Coutinho is whether he will start or not with the rotation at this stage.
Victor Moses- Moses has made an impressive return from his injury bagging 2 assists and looking really lively down the right hand side. With Chelsea's fixtures coming up Moses could prove to be really influential at the back and going forward.
Captain Picks
Harry Kane- Although Spurs have been poor of late, Kane has still managed to bag some goals, a home game against Stoke could just be what Spurs need and if they do bounce back, Harry Kane should be among the goals as always.
Roberto Firminho- The Brazilian has been in could touch of late and his early withdrawal from the Champions League game in midweek suggests that he could start in the much anticipated Everton fixture this weekend.
Eden Hazard- The Belgian could continue his super form this weekend against a struggling West Ham in the London Derby. Another double digit performance is on the horizon for Hazard and you don't want to be the one that doesn't have him when he does turn it on.
