Be the change you want to see
Sexual harassment:
Women, do not abide sexual harassment, especially in the workplace. Stand up, speak out! If you don't resist it you will be affected by it, your sisters, mothers, daughters and perfect strangers will suffer. If you are strong, be the strength that others may not have.
Men, do not stand idly by while your buddies harass women. Stand up, speak out, say something. Most men will agree with you and admire you for taking a stand.
Parents, teach your children well and be an example for them and their peers. As parents we are in a unique position to help shape the future.
If you are saying to yourself that this isn't a problem, please take a moment to have a word with yourself.
N.B. Men are also sexually harassed, none of it is acceptable and the only way it changes is when we all no longer stand by and let it happen.
