Two alleged sexual assaults in a country festival
Two women sued for sexual assault at a country music festival on Manitoulin Island this weekend.
The Ontario Provincial Police reported that it was investigating these two alleged assault cases that occurred at the Country Fest Fairgrounds.
The police were called to the scene on August 11 in the morning.
A first young woman explained to them that she had been attacked by a stranger while she was walking in the festival campsite.
She was taken to the hospital to treat injuries.
A second young woman also complained to the police about sexual assault.
