It comes down to those who see suffering in life as a challenge and those who see suffering in life as a curse, or a cruel trick of fate. Everybody suffers. Some rise to the challenge and some don't.

Now, this might appear harsh, but it's the truth. Life is tough. Life is unrelenting. For a man, doubly so. There is no equality. It's a battle for dominance. Being on the bottom of the dominance hierarchy has serious implications for your health and well-being. You get depressed and sick.

The point of light you need to aim for when dragging yourself out of this, if you have the will, is to realize you need to create a better you, that can stand up against the competition of others.

Have a quick gaze at the animal kingdom, and try to realize that we are not separate from this existence. The truth of life is written in nature.
