How do you keep each other arroused in a marriage after 15 years or more. Let’s face it, sex is an enormous important factor in a life long relationship, as sex is an important activity for emotional connection, physical relaxation, and basically because it is, it just is.
And in a monogamous relationship you are solely dependent on your partner to deliver again and again and again. Doing it 2 times a week for 10 years on average, means you have had sex with the same partner for about 1000 times. What other activities in your life do you do that you are still interested in and like a lot that you do for about a 1000 times in 10 years? Usually a hobby, that you invest time in, you spend time looking things up, or you buy new stuff for. Anyway, you usually want to improve on it, discuss it with others, grow.

I don’t say you need to do all these things with sex, but at least you should invest time in it, and maybe want to improve, get better at it. If yes with a hobby, So why not with sex?

The only way to stay arroused in a marriage is to invest time in sex. Which investments you should make, I can’t tell you, I don’t know what arouses you or your partner.
