Succubus, Incubus, Death

       I can’t let go of this idea, not until I write it out.   

I’m reading ‘Thinking & Destiny’. I’m around the psychic destiny section, exploring the good and bad emotions and their consequences, ghosts and other entities. If you have ever masturbated, this is for you. (Not sure if there is anyone who hasn’t…)

In repressed sexual environments like in monasteries and nunneries where there is no hope of sexual fulfilment, individuals would (probably still do) masturbate fervently to experience some kind of bliss through our wonderful biological machine and its chemical reactions. The constant, nightly, imaginings of sexual partners and the increasingly more elaborate fantasies, attracts lost entities needing to exhaust their mental perversions; the lost souls of rampant alcoholics, sexual addicts, and, probably, pedophiles.   

They feed on the sexual frustration, the astral energy of the masturbator, becoming more and more tangible, developing personality and physical traits. Eventually, they are felt physically, becoming more real. It all ends in death, the masturbator leaking vitality in the creation of the fantasy, suffers a weak immune system, dying of some opportune disease, or is killed by the succubus (female) or incubus (male).

Hectic!

But then it also reminds me of a Tibetan Buddhist practice mentioned in Glenn H. Mullin’s introduction to ‘The Six Yogas of Naropa’. Through meditation and visualization techniques a double is created that actually manifests physically. The aim of the practice is to conjure a physical being, then to de-materialize it again. The techniques would only be taught to adepts who had accomplished many other meditations to strengthen their will power and conquer their weaknesses.   

Sounds weird! And for what purpose?!

Maybe the conquering of all phenomena. I doubt these techniques are taught today as there are stories of Tibetan monks being murdered by their own creations. Talk about spiritual backfire of note!   

So, beware those with a masturbation addiction. Any addiction is an expression of imbalance. See the beauty in life, see the beauty in yourself, be creative, be social. There is someone for everyone. There is therapy, yoga and dark chocolate. If you have to masturbate, embrace the tantric goal of multiple orgasms. Just not a succubus or incubus, please.
