Walking in the streets of the city I found an old wooden window.

The street starts from Lychakivs'ka Street to the Botanical Garden of Lviv University.

By 1871 the street had its names: Tseternivka (pl. Cetnarówka) - in honor of the former owner of the estate - the Belgian governor Ignatius Tsetner, who at the end of the XVIII century. created here a park with exotic plants; Lychakiv side (pl. Łyczakowska boczna), Sands on Lychakov (pl. Piaski na Łyczakowie). From 1871 - the street Tseternivs'ka (pl. Cetnarówska), since 1936 - Dunin-Wąsowicza Street, in honor of the officer of the Polish Army, participant of the Polish-Ukrainian war Boleslaw Dunin-Vonsovich (1894-1919) . During the German occupation, namely from 1943, Doroshenkogasse, in honor of the prominent Ukrainian military, political and statesman, Hetman of the Zaporizhzhya Right Bank of Ukraine, Petro Doroshenko. In July 1944 a pre-war title was returned for a short time. In October 1945 - the street of Khorolsk, in honor of the city of Khorol, which is in the Poltava region. In December of that year, the pre-war street name was reinstated for the second time. In 1946 the street got its modern name - street Marka Cheremshina, in honor of the prominent Ukrainian writer and public figure.
