You know I’ve observed that the upvoting seems to be only temporary. I’ve sponsored at least 3 people and also had at least one person do a triple sponsorship for me, yet the upvoting always falls off over just a few months. I’m definitely not getting upvotes equivalent to 6+ right now.

    We posted an explanation of how our voting balances work in December: https://steemit.com/steembasicincome/@steembasicincome/vote-values-in-steem-basic-income-part-four-value-balances-and-upvote-delivery

    In it we recommend 6 units as the subscription level required for weekly upvotes. You have only 5 units (from 5 separate enrollment transactions of 1 STEEM each - two where you sponsored others and three where people sponsored you - none matching your description of a triple sponsorship), which would predict 8 upvotes so far in 2019, and you have received exactly 8 upvotes in 2019 from our program.

    We did have an issue with our backup system activating when it should not have in late January. It looks like it gave you daily upvotes for 4-5 days in a row (which you did not have enough upvote balance to support). That resulted in a long 'pause' while your balance grew back to the level needed to support another upvote. Now that you've received one (4 days ago) you should expected to see about one upvote per week again.

    Ah, that explains the irregularities. Nice also to hear it was 3 different people deciding to sponsor me. I'd thought it was just one strong fan.
