you can do the same with a free gif creator for your smartphone, it is called GIPHY CAM. i use it on my samsung. not sure if its available for iphone too...if you want to redirect everybody who`s clicking on it to your start page on steemit you can load up the gif on blogger for exampple first. then its getting a bit complicated. But if you got it once you can save the main structure somewhere in a writing document like .odt for example and exchange into new gifs anytime.
