The end of the last episode and with that also the end of the third season is very good and is again this mysterious and typical Stranger Things, which everyone loves.

So, after a big fight between Jim Hopper and the russian Terminator, Jim actually hits the russian Terminator into this machine, who tries to open the portal so he is behind an electrical barrier and Joyce has to shut down the machine alone and close the portal and because of this explosion of the machine Jim is supposed to be swallowed from the ground. So at the end of the series it should look like Jim Hopper actually died and doesn't show up all the time. However, I don't really believe that Jim Hopper is dead.

What many of us think happened with Jim Hopper is clear, or? At the very beginning we see in a scene that we are not in Hawkings but in Russia where they try to open a crack in the wall with exactly this similar machine. But they never had enough energy to open exactly this crack which we find out at the end by Alexei and exactly for this reason the Russians came to Hawkins, because of the second crack, which they could open with the machine or could open further.

However, in the post credits we see that we are back in Russia, so at the supposedly first crack and are in a kind of prison where they finally accuse a prisoner of the Demogorgon. Which means so much, first of all they managed to open the crack and secondly the Demogorgon was able to get through and the Russians used it as a weapon against the prisoners.

Besides, I'm almost so sure that Jim Hopper never died because he is such a strong and important character and if would die, that we would have seen his death before and clear without any secrecy. He's not pulverized or anything else besides the machine and in my opinion I think he may have had time to jump through the portal into the upside-down world or something else to get out of the other crack in Russia when they opened the crack there.

There we also get a little hint that the people in Russia say as they walk past all the cells No not the American and maybe that's a little hint that Jim Hopper could be meant. It could be and it would also make sense for me that they leave the figure in the series and that he doesn't die in this way. In my opinion it could be natural that he could die in the next season. But then on a different way than it is shown to us in season 3. So in the end we can only say or hope that Jim Hopper made it.

And just because we got to see the Demogorgon in Russia, we can assume that there will definitely be a season 4, which of course pleases me personally. There are already rumours when this season will be or could be released.

The kids, when they say goodbye to each other, say that they can meet again, for example for Thanksgiving or around christmas, that they will be together again. And that would be a possibility to start a season again. There was season 3 on July 4th, on Independence Day, and there was a season on Halloween. Everything has always had such special events. So it could be that will be another season of Strange Things on christmas. This would also fit to the 1.5 year cycle of a new Stranger Things season.

Who knows, maybe we will get the next season presented for christmas 2020.

Stranger Things got from me 9 Stars out of 10 at IMDb back and is therefore better than the second season and makes me want more again.
