- Pilj Waterfall (64 meters) - Frozen cascades
It is located on the Old Mountain, on the Piljski Potok, and the waterfall is flooded with 64 meters high. A good macadam road passes several hundred meters below the waterfall, and one of its legs passes right next to the place from where the water crashes into a sink. It is the most beautiful and the highest part of the Old Mountain, which is only occasionally visited by rare mountaineers and foresters, and was therefore found only in 2002.
It was discovered by Nikolas Vladimir Manic, who for two decades cruised the Old Mountain and photographed the documentaries. The waterfall consists of two cascades Upper Pill and Donji Pilj, and at the bottom is a large vortex. In winter, the waterfall goes off and transforms into ice cascades, which is a great challenge for alpinists.
