Search Engine Optimization Specialist
Let me tell you a little bit about myself... I began as a self taught web site programmer back in 1999. While working on a site that got put on the back burner and burnt to a crispy popped bubble, I was contacted by the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online division. Coereced to apply to their school to get an actual degree in interactive media design, so that they could hook me up with a job, etc. I put the site on the back burner to advance my career. I know funny right? As those of us who began as self educators should know better than to fall for that scheme.
Let's advance forward to shortly after I got my degree, yet had no job offers. I ended up finding a company that for a small fee of $50 USD I would get a bundle of resources to allow me to work from home. I'm sure you heard of that scheme as well. However, it reminded me of my original venture. Now having a degree in interactive media and web design, I could use my knowledge to create my own flow of income.
I first found this site called HubPages.com where I planned on starting out as they do pay you to post quality content to their site. I had already been an affiliate for a few companies like Share-A-Sale, Big Berky, etc. However, the years have changed HubPages and it's quite difficult to get away with linking to anything there.
I haven't made a ton of money on HubPages, but I have made an extra couple hundred dollars a year with only a couple articles that I wrote years ago, and still earn from today. What makes that couple hundred dollars so great is that I'm not spending my time having to update them all the time. This is due to the knowledge I have gained on search engine optimization.
See developing a website is one step of a multi-step process to creating a web presence. Once the site is developed you need to get the site seen by the search engines so that you can get organic traffic, as that is your money maker. It doesn't matter if you have a store or you're an affiliate, organic traffic will never fail to bring you a paycheck.
If you would like to know the techniques I use to keep traffic flowing you can check out the articles I have written on search engine optimization located here. Where I live internet can be a little hard to come by so many of the articles have not been updated probably since they were first published. However, much of the search engine optimization information they provide is still valid today as the techniques described are considered to be white hat and search engine friendly advice. Of course my other articles that I use the techniques on can attest to that being as they have for several years and still are recieving organic search traffic.
That's why I had to share with you the little known fact that I am a search engine optimization specialist. I share my techniques with anyone who wants to know for free. So please feel free to check out my optimization advice and try it out. I promise you it won't hurt. Thanks for reading and much love to you.
