I hold B. Tech from National Institute of Technology and PGDM from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. I have over 20 years of marketing experience in the IT industry in India. I worked in sales and marketing of leading IT Services companies in India like Tata Consultancy Services and Hinduja TMT.
But I always wanted to be on my own. Corporate life stifled me!
I quit my IT job and started Ananya SEO Services in 2009 with a partner.
Ananya Digital Marketing agency was born out of a passion for to help NGOs achieve social objectives in 2009. Our very first clients were SARDS and SERUDS, both in Andhra Pradesh. Floods were ravaging the state and both the NGOs were trying to raise funds and to help the flood victims. We built websites for them, did Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and social media campaigns successfully.
On our tenth anniversary, we are offering up to 75% discount to nonprofits based in India on website development and SEO.
Along our journey, we provided website development, content marketing, SEO, Digital Marketing or PPC advertising and social media marketing to small businesses and more NGOs.
Currently we are helping Sai Educational Rural & Urban Development Society or SERUDS with Digital Marketing. Sai Educational Rural & Urban Development Society (SERUDS) is a registered Charitable Nonprofit Organization in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India. SERUDS projects are focused on disadvantaged children :
- Orphanage in Andhra Pradesh , Sponsoring education of poor girls
- Elders Charitable Old Age Home , sponsoring cooked meals and groceries), and
- Women (livelihood training).
They also run need based programs such as COVID-19 relief and livelihood training for women.
I worked with Maya Organic, which assists artisans and worker co-operatives to develop and market high quality products and services. MO works with lacware cluster in Channapatna, Karnataka to produce high quality wooden lacware toys, handicrafts. At the factory of Maya Organic, artisans of varying ages work on power lathes and craft these toys and decor items. Now, with the factory, things are more streamlined, and life is no longer a daily wages struggle. Earlier, artisans would make saada bombe (plain toys), but MO has designed cool toys and handicrafts, as these pics show.
Bobblers’ is a simple wooden pull toy. Watch them race along with their heads bobbing up and down as you pull the toy. Made using traditional lacware toy making techniques and is colored with natural dyes.
You hear of start-ups that raise angel funds even before starting operations, simply on the strength of their promoters and idea. Not so my venture. Digital Marketing is not an innovation, and clients won’t believe that I charge a fair fee, not when other SEO companies charge a seductive penny.
