My Introduction

Hello fellow Steemians! I just joined here recently this December 2017.

My real name is Justin Gian Chan, though I call myself Gian Anderson. Well, I caught that name from inventing a foreign name and fused them both and voila! As if I'm an imaginary fictional character but I live in a crazy dystopian world full of love, happiness and sadness. (Poetic Expression) Anyways, you can call me Gian; I love to be called by that name. I use the name Gian, a call-out in my poetry. (Guess you already have a clue of what I love to do in life)
And not to forget my age, I am 19 years old and still in my prime years and single.

The second picture shows me with my siblings, my mom and dad; and the Christmas atmosphere in this picture is very pleasing to my senses.

My two sisters are Erin and Rein, the elder of the two is Erin (left side} and the youngest sibling is Rein who is in the middle. My Mom, Marites, is a nurse and a teacher of the nursing department and my dad, Reginald, is a pastor and he ministers in the church. I am a student in a college institution in my hometown La Union, Lorma Colleges and I am going second year in 2018 and the course I am taking is psychology.

Dreams:
For me, I have a lot of dreams and on top is my list is not to become higher than anyone else but become higher than the mediocre me. I want to reach my IDEAL SELF. I believe everyone has a desperation to seek the ideal that they want to be. That is the reason why in school we are always asked, "what do you want to be when you grow up?" And because of that, I should always be reminded about my objective and mission statement.

To be specific about the ideal matters that I am dreaming of, number one, I want to make a music album of my own and become a professional musician. I love making music since the age of twelve and made quite a number of songs. I am a composer, a vocalist and brought together a band named, "Daylights of Summer." My genres are alternative rock and indie. Someday I wish to have a concert of my own and travel the world with my family and friends. Number two, I want to become a well known poet. I love making poems. Poets are writers who don't sing, I guess in the poetry side. Well, I love art and its expression. It is how I express myself with freedom and sense of autonomy from a distressed world we live in today. Music and poetry for me hold hand in hand. Third, I want to publish my own books. Someday, I hope that the person I will eventually love will be enthusiastically and joyfully be happy for me for who I am despite my flaws and weaknesses. And fourth, which is actually my last, I want to become a counselor, helping people to rise up, see the horizon and walk into the light as a new person. A bird without feathers can have artificial wings but our souls are indestructible. Actually, my fourth is my major dream, the others are my hobbies that I really love to do. As the Bible says, let the first be the last and the last be the first. At least, I know my priority and not to live just to earn money but to help other people.

Anyway, that is all I want to say. I am happy that a friend invited me to join in this community. It is a wonderful privilege to be here at STEEMIT. :)
