Know who you are

Many times we go through life thinking of our self as people think or have said that we are, meaning what people think we are or who they think we are. The truth is, none of this really determines who you are, it is important that you know who you are, who do you say you are? It took me a while to stop caring what people said about me or what I thought they would say about me, this affected my dressing, style, speaking or not speaking, smiling or not smiling.

For years I really never knew who I was and only wanted to fit in, for a while. I came to the realization that I would have to really do some soul searching and really see who I was and what I wanted out of life for me.
Did people feel refreshed and encouraged after being around me or was I a toxic being? Did I have a purpose or was I just living an empty boring life? I later found out there was a lot of things that I really enjoyed doing and that underneath all that roughness that I tried to portray, under that there was a very caring, kind, loving, joyful being.

In the process, I also found that if you don't know who you are, you can make you who you want to be. How? WORDS... Yes, the words you speak over yourself or over your life can shape your life to become who you want to be. I am talking about the power of words. The words you speak about yourself go out in the atmosphere and plant a seed or seeds that come back harvested into your life.
What seeds are you sowing over your life? Speak who you want to be, who God says you are. You are a king/queen, you are the head and not the tail, which means you are above all the world may throw at you. The fact, people will always think they can sum you up and know who you are, but as of today, you tell people who you are by your words and by your actions.

I am full of life and working every day to be a blessing to others, I am above and not beneath, I am a trailblazer, I am compassionate and kind. I do not need anyone's approval I just need to do what needs to be done and then they will see me for who I really am.
