Loving myself

I make sure to look into the mirror every morning, before I go out to loot potions and whatnot, and repeat the affirmation aloud: "I love myself. I forgive myself. I am completely secure, inside myself."

Why?

Well, I don't know, tbh. I guess I just feel like it helps me to be at my best and to perform well on the battlefield. A man at war with himself isn't going to be optimized for literal war, right? I guess that's my thinking, here.
