SELF AND FANCY
You at seed stage right? Do you have any ideas for using marketing products that doesn't stand out and kills your business finances for growth?
For example, you start an IT company (Let's Say Future IT (Pty) Ltd) and you rush to brand cups, pencils, books under your company name, Future (Pty) Ltd.
Do you realise that money you used to brand cups, pencils and books can be used for other important things in business? I've met people who branded cups, books, pencils, etc.
But do not have enough money for meetings, phone bill, etc.
I advice you do not rush looking fancy in business, the plan is to grow the business not status.
If you notice in most cases businesses that look fancy fail and business that ain't looking fancy make a lot of money and growing businesses.
All depends which industry you in.
For example, a restaurant must look better to attract customers (but keep in mind looking better/fancy doesn't mean people will come), sometimes with branded cups or even not branded its fine.
Go to Africa country see businesses that ain't looking fancy making millions or billions. Focus on growing the business and making money not on how you want it to look fancy.
You in business to make money and make other people's lives easy.
You not in business to be Iskhothane!!! Learn to scale the business with little you have not to scale how you want it to be fancy.
In business I've never seen balance sheet that includes "Fancy."
DON'T LOOK DOWN ON YOURSELF
One of the worst things you can do as a person who has just started a business is to look down on yourself and what you do.
If you don't believe in yourself, why should your potential customers believe in you?
The fact that you are starting small does not mean that you will remain small.
You might not be making a lot of money now but don't let that discourage you.
Just keep being diligent and committed to your business.
Do all you can to offer the best value to your customers/clients.
Money flows in the direction of value.
Don't look down on yourself. You are more than what you think you are.
We should also avoid falling for the popular iSyndrome..... the boundless love of self
