Don't go to college Part 2

My last post seemed anti-college but it was true. (In the US at least). I felt bad and wanted to share some additional thoughts I had that are pro-college. I may try to squeeze a little anti if something comes up.
The biggest benefit the college experience offers, beside the education is friends. These friends are not the random buddy who moved in the house down the street. These friends have ambition. Depending on the university you attend, these friends can come from wealthy families. These families can help provide opportunities. Your network could be that little advantage that gets you the interview.
Another plus to consider. College is not the worst place to find your significant other. You could do alot worse. Ambitious people tend to do better when they are around each other. Birds of a feather, as the saying goes.
You are the reflection of the five people you most associate with. If you are around people who live in a deliberate manner, you have a huge advantage over people who dont. Winners make success happen. They know what they want and take action to make it a reality.
Now none of this matters if you hide in your studies and refuse to take chances. You should also be very cautious how you behave with your new friends. These are your co-workers and colleagues. Start practicing professional etiquete early on so they know the best you. No one can count on a drunken drug addicted sex addict. This kind of person is fun to watch in a movie but do you really want them to build your hospital or walk down the aisle with?
Please dont forget about that student loan enslavement debt contract. It is for life. There are plenty of options to get all the benefits of higher education without the wasted time and burdensome debt. I would love to share my experience with highly motivated individuals that want to super charge their self improvement plans.
