Empowerment of going out alone Day #5, and this was a doozy!
I did go a bit overboard today, but it all just happened and fell in place. My empowerment journey today started at one of my favs today Avvio in Garden City.
Chicken Sandwich with pesto, cheese, and roasted peppers. Was a bit of a carb and sweet day. Thank God for the greens on the side to make me feel better about being off my diet!
Late afternoon movie. I saw The Hitman's Bodyguard with Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds. Action packed and I thought the two of them were very funny together. And Salma Hayek was a riot in it also.
Yes, wine again. I definitely made a day of it!
I did miss my ex-boyfriend a bit because for 2 years I've had him sitting next to me in the theater. But I'm moving ahead and getting out with my own plans!
Being close to my favorite restaurants on the East Greenwich coast, my car just seemed to go in that direction.... and I ended up at Blu on the Water just like that!!

Crabcakes. I was going to go home but I hear, "Are you from the meet-up group?".
I told this nice woman that I wasn't but asked "What is the meet-up group?"
It is a group that meets up for dancing, hiking, dinners, etc. Never heard of them, but guess what? I ended up staying and meeting up with them all. A band came on and I danced for almost the whole first set!
I finally went to wait for my car at the valet area!
So much for the market and cooking, but after all, breakups are a time for adjustments and I'm adjusting with as much fun as possible.
Creating new memories and being happy with yourself can be easier and more fun than you think. Life can change in the blink of an eye.
Get out and enjoy life and see what surprises are out there too!
What a nice day you had! I like going to the movies and don't mind at all going alone but I don't really go out to eat much but I think I will start soon, lol!

It's really a great step you did just in doing so much today on your own, but not necessarily "alone" if that makes sense! I hope you plan on meeting that group again too, that sounds like fun! You have a good night too! It's like pushing 1 am and I'm not off of Steemit yet! #steemitaddict

@aliceariley exactly ... on my own but not alone. It is amazing. Just fell in my lap. I was wondering when the band would start and I go up and dance with someone or not anyway! But it was nice having people to talk to there!

Yes, you will love the movie if you like those two actors. I love them too and they had me laughing. Lots of action and shooting too, but their antics were really funny!
