Philosophy of Tarot Major Arcana: Strength
Introduction. Often in the people's minds Tarot cards are associated with a gypsy woman sitting in a tent and predicting a future that can not be changed .
For me, Tarot - is primarily a philosophy, strict and logical system, a textbook of life, simple rules, following which you can make your life easier and brighter.
The Major Arcana describe the life of a person, his evolution. Minor Arkana talk about everyday situations. When Major Arcana come to our life it gives us a specific kind of energy. You can use this energy to improve your life.
Today we will get acquainted with the Major Arcana Strength.
In the picture we see a green glade where a lion is sitting. Behind the lion's back stands a young girl who slightly holds the lion with her hand. The whole pose of the lion and the expression of its muzzle shows the discontent of the animal.
At the same time the girl is absolutely calm. She does not pay attention either to the lion or to his displeasure. She does not have the slightest doubt that the lion will obey her. The girl is dressed in a white dress. We have already met this symbol before and remember that it means the purity of intentions.
It is assumed that the girl should have a belt - a symbol of restraint of emotions. But the lion closes the waist of the girl from us, so the symbol is duplicated - on the girl's hair we see a hairnet.
On the neck of the girl is a chain with an evolving pentogram. The energies of Strength help us to evolve.
Above the girl's head is the sign of infinity, which means astral perfection.
When the energy of Strength comes into our lives, it gives us confidence. The whole essence of the image that we see is that the girl conquers the lion is not physical, but spiritual strength, self-confidence.
If the girl tried to conquer the lion physically, she would certainly lose. We lose when we begin to obey the material aspects of life, when we choose money between love and money, when we choose stable work between personal growth and stable work. There are many more examples. The energy of Strength helps us overcome doubts, gives us confidence, helps to overcome fears. This is a very positive energy.
