pct hike from Warner Springs to eagle rock and back

Drove to warner springs and headed south next to the fire station through the first pipe gate following a well beaten well marked path following the pct blazes

Round trip was roughly 7 miles (3 1/2 in and 3 1/2 out) first half was under the shade of trees, part of that along a clear creek, the last half was more in the sun. A natural rock formation in the shape of an eagle - how patriotic - completely worth the trek!
