Germany wants to launch airstrikes in Syria

Germany plans to take part in air strikes in Syria On Monday, the German government said it was talking to the allies to launch a possible military strike in Syria. Social Democrats (SPD) has criticized Germany's plans for this plan.

Considering the past Nazi invasion, any military operation overseas for Germany is considered unpopular. If you take part in a Syrian air strike, it will be a matter of direct involvement with Russia. Because Russia is supporting President Bashar al-Assad.

German government spokesman Stephen Sibrett said that the Assad regime talks about possible military attack with US and European allies to stop chemical weapons. However before the decision is made, the government will go to parliament.

Earlier, the newspaper said the build, the Conservative Leadership Defense Ministry of Germany examined the possibility of joining the United States, the United Kingdom, and France to stop the use of chemical weapons in Damascus in the future. If there is an urgent need, parliament may be informed after the incident.

The SPD says they will not support attacks by parliament or government decisions in any way. Hans Peter Bartels, a parliamentary figure on military problem, said participating in any military attack would be against the constitution if it did not have the consent of NATO, the United Nations and the European Union. At least the United Nations Security Council will have to agree.
