So the vaunted trusted Google Play app center isn't so perfect ( How do you indicate sarcasm on Steemit?)

...up to 36.5 million people may have downloaded the "auto-clicking adware."
Dubbed "Judy," the malware was published by South Korean gaming studio Kiniwini under the name ENISTUDIO Corp. It's unclear how the malicious code got there - criminal third parties or the company itself.

I know of legit apps not getting approved, seems like their political filter may be tighter than their malware filter :).

I have not been running any kind of anti-malware/virus on my android. Looks like it it time to rethink the that policy. Even though this was just a ad-clicking scam. It does show the potential is there for a harmful piece of software to make it on even well policed app stores.

I know Webroot has one and I like their desktop product. Looks like I will have to do my first product review and get back to you!
