Sig Sauer is the Best Home Defense Handgun, and Great Hat Sponsor!
If you know me, you know that I love guns. And if you didn't know that, now you do! And one of my favorite manufacturer of firearms is none other than Sig Sauer.
Sig handguns are renowned for their quality, reliability, and most importantly, accuracy. Some of the best military and law enforcement agencies in the world routinely deploy Sig Sauer guns, which run the gamut from long-range sniper rifles to polymer handguns.
But what many people don't know is that Sig firearms are also incredible value. I personally trust the Sig Sauer SP2022 -- chambered in .40SW -- for my home defense and self defense needs. They are definitely high quality handguns, but a bit beyond my price range.
My current home defence handgun is a surplus Russian Tokorev. Nothing fancy, but reliable.

It's 2017 and live in a civilised, first world country. You talk about how armed you are, but then when innocent people get shot you complain? What do you think is going to happen when everyone has guns and is scared of one another?

Hmm... interesting ...you see a gun like something evil. First of all, no, I haven't killed a bug in my life....oh wait ...a couple of cockroaches ... does that count as being an evil person? Lol! Second, yes I like to shoot guns and I am a woman. Also, I use a knife every evening to make dinner...do you know that people use knives to kill too? Does it make me a bad person...how about a razor? You guys use it all the time...you can kill and hurt anyone with that thing...I can go on and on.
Everything around us can be used as weapon. Yes, we think we are civilized. How many people are committing suicide because of Facebook...don't any one of you liberals care? I can keep counting on and on with this stupid liberal bullshit about guns... Lastly, look what is going on in Germany, Britain and France....does not owning guns help them?
I'm not saying you're a bad person. I'm simply asking why you think it's making you 'safe' when it actually isn't.

When seven children are killed by firearms in your country PER DAY, it's pretty safe to say the answer is no.
Gun control advocates always pull up firearm-homicide -- homicide! -- statistics, and yet consistently fail to add how many lives were saved by the use or threat of usage, of firearms.
In the research paper, "Armed Resistance to Crime: The Prevalence and Nature of Self-Defense with a Gun," 1,029,615 incidents involved firearms for the protection of self and property.
According to the CDC, approximately half a million American households per yer use a firearm to scare off would-be intruders (Estimating Intruder-Related Firearm Retrievals in U.S. Households, 1994. Ikeda.).
Additionally, a 1982 prison survey reported that 40% of criminals were scared off from committing a crime because they knew or believed that the potential victim was armed with a gun.
On a personal note, you can have whatever opinion you want about firearms. But the choice to protect myself and my family is NEVER open for discussion.
I don't get why Americans are proud that you have to live with this fear.
It just doesn't come up anywhere else in the developed world because nobody else keeps loaded guns by their pillow at night to 'protect their family' lol...
And I don't get why you're such a coward! You think that "dialoguing" and "safe spaces" are going to protect you from a muslim terrorist? You want to give it a go? Fine by me. I'll rely on my friend, Mr. Sig Sauer!
