The hidden of God: The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever. Deuteronomy 29:29

The Book of Deuteronomy tells how Moses received the law from God, and how that law must be put into the daily practice through a series of demands in the treatment of others and in the fidelity to the creator of all things.
But the prophet at the end of his teachings emphasized the importance of understanding the hidden things of God, and that it is up to the prophet like a spiritual sentinel, to reveal this spiritual knowledge to the common and simple people, and about this the Bible teaches: "Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets" Amos 3:7.
Because it is through the understanding of the hidden that the functioning of the world and society is understood. Just as men have secret objectives and act for them, so does God. This is why spirituality is so important, to think that spirituality only consists of praying, dedicating oneself to listening to good advice, and behaving well like a saint is very naive. All the prophets with their extraordinary actions went beyond these simple things.
And this is fundamental because Job, who was a God-fearing man, as the Bible tells it, was put to the test by God, and Job, in his inability to understand the secret designs of God, despite his wisdom, committed the sin of wanting judge God. The life of Job was in a certain sense a metaphor of Israel. This is why the work of the prophet as a mediator between that unknown knowledge of God and man's need to know becomes clear and necessary.
And so, as a summary of these things, the prophet left a very important thought to reflect on: "The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law" Deuteronomy 29:29.
