Already 10 !! 10 weeks of #seaphotography contest and nearly 60SDB of price offered to the participants. This week it's the yacht that we will put in the spotlight in the #seaphotography contest. Yacht in English translation of course which means SAILING BOAT !!! Classic yacht, cruising sailboats, luxury sailing boats, you can post now and here !

Just came across your contest:) I saw your winning image over at @czechglobalhosts challenge. I love the sea and being on the water. So I guess I can submit some images over time.
This photo was taken at the Wadden Sea North of the Ijsselmeer during low tide. The "flat bottom" ships are made for the shallow canals and seas in the Netherlands. During tide you can just "drop" the ship on the bottom of the ocean, walk around and enjoy this incredible experience.
Taken on 01.10.2011, Canon 500 D, 18mm, f6,3.

I took this shoth at the start line while competing in the 2018 Miami to Key Largo Regatta. There were so many beautiful boats, but this was the queen.

Great memories about hot and sunny vacations in Sueno, Turkey. Got quite a cloudy day which made perfect composition for this yacht belonging to the hotel

This old sailing boat is now used more for tourism, the little black dots in the distance are all bats leaving there feeding grounds for the day to return back to their homes for the night. Not a bad sunset too!

The day after the storm near Martigues France. Some boat did not make it... It was a hell of a storm on the Mediterranean sea.
