Sandy beaches... the sea is not as blue as by the rocks but it is still wonderful

We love the Adriatic in Croatia but this summer decided to go to Italy for a change. There, beaches are rather sandy and the water is more shallow, which means that many families come with small babies. There are long-long free coastlines, so it is not as crowded as Croatia, however the sea is not as blue and crystal clear because of the sand. For me, both are good... I love the sea, no matter where it is...
