5 zero waste companies for a waste-free lifestyle in Japan

At first, "waste-free" seems to be an impossibility in Japan, especially with its strong consumerism culture. However, we are beginning to realize that awareness is not the problem. Not everyone may know what "zero waste" means, but they know they need to reduce the amount of plastic, food waste, energy waste etc.

So the true question becomes, "Why aren't there enough waste-free alternatives?" Imagine flooding the consumer market with sustainable options, consumers will begin to make conscious decisions on which to buy.
