Imagine coming home to this, growing in your yard.
That’s pretty much what happened to me,
except I was the mechanism of growth and my yard was really my living room.
Made with recycled tee shirts, found furniture trim, jute rope, thread, and little bits of blood and cursing.
This is part of a series of 3 rag rug style sculptures.
It was the first one started and the last one finished.
Originally thought of as a wall hanging,
this piece really took on life after it wrapped itself up into a self-contained unit of mystery.
What is it?!?!
Is it going to continue to grow?
What if something bursts out of it?!?
I might have to go kill it now.
It's so surprising how you have managed to have this. It shows creativity of the highest order. You kill it, you kill my smile. It's my wallpaper right now because I'm helplessly in love with it
If you want it, I am sure we can work something out...I am super happy someone loves the creature :)
