There was a japanese company that invented a machine that could turn plastic back into oil - but 'strangely' they don't appear to have brought it to market. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the oil industry's heavies.
Huh?? Hows that even possible. What relationship does plastic have with oil....that's just plain amazing.

in the comments they say it must use a lot of energy to complete the process and so it might not really be very practical.
