Are We Living In An Alien Zoo? VIDEO INSIDE
Up late on YouTube, I ran across an interesting video, and it got me thinking... Do we live in an alien zoo? Are we bing watched by extraterrestrials? Read on to find out my thought!
Alien Zoo: Fairly Odd Parents
As the owner of Tesla Elon Musk once said " If there are super intelligent aliens out there they are already observing us" This is a strange thought and it has been played with for many years. There are countless books and tv shows depicting the fact that alien life forms are watching us. Whether they are benevolent or not is different from story to story. Some say that they leave us alone to let us grow organically. Some say that they think that humans are evil because of our constant pollution and wars. Some say aliens arent letting us leave this planet and will stop us at all costs... But can this all be true?
The Fermi paradox:
The Fermi paradox or Fermi's paradox, named after physicist Enrico Fermi, is the apparent contradiction between the lack of evidence and high probability estimates, e.g., those given by the Drake equation, for the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations. The basic points of the argument, made by physicists Enrico Fermi (1901–1954) and Michael H. Hart (born 1932), are:
There are billions of stars in the galaxy that are similar to the Sun, many of which are billions of years older than Earth.
With high probability, some of these stars will have Earth-like planets, and if the Earth is typical, some might develop intelligent life.
Some of these civilizations might develop interstellar travel, a step the Earth is investigating now.
Even at the slow pace of currently envisioned interstellar travel, the Milky Way galaxy could be completely traversed in a few million years.
According to this line of reasoning, the Earth should have already been visited by extraterrestrial aliens. In an informal conversation, Fermi noted no convincing evidence of this, leading him to ask, "Where is everybody?"[9][10] There have been many attempts to explain the Fermi paradox, primarily either suggesting that intelligent extraterrestrial life is extremely rare or proposing reasons that such civilizations have not contacted or visited Earth. _ Wikipedia
As stated in the video a computer simulated that was running that supports the zoo hypothesis. For the simulation many civilizations were placed in random spots around the galaxy while the program computed the likelihood of any of the civilizations communicating. The computer simulation concluded that there needed to be a minimum of 500 civilizations that spaned a lifetime of 1 million years. This is because of communication speeds and further reasons.
As human tech keeps growing, we may soon find the answer. But for now, all we can do is wait for a discovery!

"There are billions of stars in the galaxy that are similar to the Sun, many of which are billions of years older than Earth." this sentence resonates with me.
We were never alone,
Love it! Great way of thinking
