Scientists Release The First Ever Video of A Dumbo Octopus Hatchling
Hey again
@trumpman with you here today, and I want to share a really cool video that came out recently. The video below is the first footage ever recorded showing a dumbo octopus hatching:
The video was recorded by researchers on a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) expedition. As the name suggests, the dumbo octopus is named after the famous flying elephant of Disney "Dumbo" due to its distinctive floppy fins. Here's a video showing an adult:
The video accompanied a new paper published yesterday in the journal Current Biology, under the name "Dumbo octopod hatchling provides insight into early cirrate life cycle."
Adorable, isn't it?
Wow, Looking wonderful and beautiful.
Cephalopods are some of my absolute favorite animals. Never get tired of them.
Nice, on second video It's looking like bath toy :D
