Ancient boy’s DNA pushes back date of earliest humans
A recent study of a boy who lived in South Africa 2000 years ago has revealed some interesting information about Homo sapiens. A study made on the skeleton of the boy has revealed that early humans evolved as a genetically different species 350,000 years ago. The study was made comparing the DNA of the ancient boy with DNA of people today and from Stone Age Denisovans and Neandertals. The debate over the timing of human origin will continue as more pieces of evidence would be available in the future.
