Excellent post, kudos. The pitch experiment reminded me of our science teacher telling us glass is actually a liquid, just very viscous. Not sure if thats true.

I looked it up, glass is neither a solid or a liquid, its a glass! Its a disordered, non-crystalline solid, that can flow extremely slowly to a more ordered nearly crystalline form.
