RE: Meet Hyperloop: The New Transportation System
its not quite new is it, its been a few years in the making ... the danger lies in distaster beyond omega ... all kinds of measures can be in place and if the tunnel isnt much bigger than the train it will be hard to derail. The only thing is a sudden stop. Say a tunnel collapse too close for the warning system to pick up so the gradual slowdown can commence, then if the first part hits, the rest will be accordeon and everything in it porridge ... even without actual contact from x to zero at that speed in less than a second will make your innards come out through your ribs lol . Strange well, this only hits mainstream now ? i gave the same answer on slashdot two months ago ... nonetheless, voted, resteemed, viewed, commented and followed (i'll follow anyone back within at most a few days whenever i check the list btw but as far as i'm concerned steemit is already as good as dead)
Thank you for your reply. I think safety is an important consideration and I can't imagine that a new technology will be approved without providing sufficient safety measures first.
