Brain waves and meditation to change the subconscious programs
In his book, "You are the Placebo" by Dr. Joe Dispenza he writes how we did not understand the mind due to the use of Newtonian Physics. Science looked at everything as matter and measured it in relation to time, distance, height, width; the mind was found too complicated so science turned that over to the church to handle.
Now we can scientifically study the mind not based on religious preferences but on science and look at what I happens in your brain waves while meditating. Dr. Joe Dispenza has done a beautiful job explaining this. He also shows when people go deep enough in meditation miraculous things happen. We have to get beyond this physical reality in order to tap into that inner knowing energy and we can do this through meditation; through quieting he mind and it doesn’t have to be a particular religion.
In America we are constantly thinking, moving and playing, fighting; just coming completely from the ego consciousness so it is so important to be able to stop that; to stop thinking.

Brain waves during consciousness
We all emit an electrical output from our brains and the frequency is measured through the use of an Electroencephalogram (EEG).

An electroencephalogram (EEG) is a test that detects electrical activity in your brain using small, flat metal discs (electrodes) attached to your scalp. Your brain cells communicate via electrical impulses and are active all the time, even when you're asleep. This activity shows up as wavy lines on an EEG recording.

Brain waves are electrical impulses in the brain there are different types of brain waves; here is some of what can be recorded and interpreted from the graphs.
• Gamma waves 40 Hz Involved in cognitive functioning, memory, learning, and processing information. Increase with Meditation.
• Beta Waves 12-40 Hz Involved in conscious thought; have while awake; high levels of awareness. Coffee and stimulants increases these.
• Alpha Waves 8 to 12 Hz Bridges the gap between conscious and subconscious mind. Alcohol and marijuana are two of the ones that increase this.
• Theta Waves 4 to 8 Hz Involved in daydreaming and sleep. Depressants increase this.
• Delta 0 to 4 Hz The slowest recorded brain waves in humans. Depressants and sleep increase this.

Go into the video about 7:40 where he talks about getting out of animal mind high beta and shows slowing brain waves down from alpha, theta, then delta.
Alpha, theta and delta represent the subconscious mind, this is where we can get through meditation. Dr. Joe Dispenza is able to teach people how to regulate their brain waves.
In the video he shows coherence and incoherence; this is one of the reasons people are able to heal using meditation.
During meditation as you slow your brain waves down you enter the subconscious. Your brain waves become more coherent; I paid for a web seminar recently and here is some of my notes. He said we spend most of our time in the incoherence state and when something happens to upset us it increases that state. I may share more from his webinar in a future post.
Kundalini
It is beautiful the they have actually documented people’s brain waves while in Samadhi or the highest state of consciousness from the ascent of Kundalini energy ascending from the base of the base of the spine up into the brain. For those of you who are not familiar with what Samadhi is that is when you go into ecstasy; you go into this higher state.
In a future post we will go over the chakras and energies emerging from them. The Kundalini lies at the base of the spine and upon awakening the energy travels up the spine to the brain, thus awakening the consciousness.

If I could upvote this post a million times , I would ! For the last week I have had Dr. Joe Dispenza's videos on youtube on replay . We can re-wire our brains and destroy years of negative self- abuse through meditation . Finding your post just now , reinforced my belief that I'm on the right track.
