Food is one of the major substances necessary for human existence every human on the planet consumes food ranging from soluble, semi- soluble or liquid however the manner and nature of the food we consume can have an ad-vast effect on our digestive system.

An unhealthy meal can put your health at risk and affect your digestive system also on the contrary a healthy digestive system boosts your immunity, enhances nutrient absorption, and makes you proactive etc.
In this article am going to share with you some of the healthy food to consume in other to boost your digestive system but before we proceed let us first understand the what digestion is.

Digestion is the process whereby large insoluble food molecules is broken down into small/smaller water-soluble food molecules so that they can be easily absorbed into the watery blood plasma, during this process food is been passed through a long tube inside the body known as the alimentary canal or the gastrointestinal tract (GI).

whenever we take in food substance our body system should be able to handle digestion of food put in the stomach but changes in the nature of food processing and preservation (THINK FRIED) and not to mention lifestyle (THINK SEDENTARY) don’t make our stomach react well to everything we consume.
It is however advisable to stay from some food that contain high concentration of fat e.g fatty meat, to avoid stomach upset and irregular digestion in the same vain nature has also provides us with food that can ease our digestion process.
So if you have been suffering from gas, bloating, heartburn, cramping, nausea, constipation or diarrhea? Worry no more with just few adjustment to what you eat, when you eat and how you eat can you can improve your digestion.

Apple are some of the most popular and delicious fruits among the health conscious and of course there is nothing like biting into a bright, red juicy apple to quench your test and sweet tooth while boosting your health in a major way.
Fitness lovers who believe in the concept of health is wealth, this wonderful fruit packed with phytonutrients is indispensable for optimal health and wellness. Apple fruit tree belongs to the ROSACEAE family and has the scientific name MALUS DOMESTICA.
Apple fruit is best known for its sweet taste, they have been cultivated for thousands of years throughout Asia, Europe and America.

There are more than 7,500 varieties of apple fruits and they come in variety of colors namely red, green and yellow the whole fruit including the skin expect the seed is suitable for human consumption the core of the seed is usually discard.
However you don’t necessarily have to be a dietician or a nutritionist to realize that apples are healthy apart from the fact that they come in their own packaging they are also full of healthy nutrient. The healthy reason to eat them is endless but we will look at some of the major benefits.

Apples being rich in fiber aid digestion process as regular consumption of apple ensure smooth bowel movements and the prevention of constipation and stomach disorders.

Fiber is an important part of any diet. It add bulk to the stool and helps food pass through the digestive tract smoothly furthermore it stimulate peristaltic motion so the muscles contract appropriately and move food along. Last but not the list it stimulates the release of gastric and digestive juices to ensure efficient uptake of nutrients. While simultaneously scraping excess cholesterol out of the veins and arteries to ensure proper heart health and reduce the chance of atherosclerosis.

Many species of fish are consumed as food in virtually all the regions around the world, fish is a low-fat food that serve as a major source of fatty acids that help to reduce inflammation in the stomach as a result this can contribute to improving your digestion and bowel movement.
Other health benefits of fish include:

It lowers risk of heart disease, reduces risk of Alzheimer disease, lower symptoms of depression, improves vision and eye health, helps you sleep better, help lower cholesterol, decrease risk of heart failure, lowers risk of cancer, speeds up your metabolism, lowers blood pressure etc.

YOGHURT:

Yoghurt is one of simplest and commonly consumed food with high rich protein essentially necessary for digestion as it provide the gut with good bacterial that help in food digestion apart from digestion yogurt has a lot of healthy benefit to it consumers.

Yoghurt is produced as a result of bacterial fermentation of milk, “the bacterial used to produce yoghurt are known as yoghurt cultures”.

The fermentation of lactose by these bacterial produces lattice acid which acts on milk protein to give yoghurt with texture and characteristic tart flavor.

Cow milk is one of the most commonly used milk in the production of yoghurt because of it availability whereas milk from buffalo, goats, ewes, mares camels, and yark are also use in the production of yoghurt.
Consumption of yoghurt can prevent diarrhea, improve bowel movement and mitigate the risk of colon cancer, the lactic bacterial in yoghurt has a lot of health benefit as well these may include immune system support, less constipation, stomach acidity, lower body fat, protection against food poisoning bugs and stronger bones.

BEANS

Many people tend to stay away from beans simply because it makes them gassy and fart but that’s not enough reason to cut it out of your diet.
Beans are so good for your health and the more beans you eat the less you are likely to get stomach trouble that why most experts recommend that you eat at least 3 cups of beans a week.

People who consume beans regularly experience less gas and bloating than people who consume them less often. They are varieties of beans ranging from black beans, navy beans, and kidney beans.

Beans contain lots of soluble and insoluble fiber, so they work double to keep the digestive system running smoothly they first slow down digestion, which gives you that full feeling, and the second helps prevent constipation. Although not all people like eating beans because of various reaction so start by slowly adding small amounts to your diet and see what it does for you.

Regulation of blood pressure, lower cholesterol, checking weight in check, high presence of iron, reduce the risk of cancer,

My favorite is apple. The only problem is that it is kinda expensive

yeah it depends on the part of the world that you are actually,
but you know is better to eat expensive and healthy food the to eat cheap and unhealthy food
