Most people need scientific proof for things they can experience themselves because they have been indoctrinated into believing the sham of a scientific community in existence these days is capable of 'proving' much of anything.
I say we simply try to learn these things ourselves and decide if they are real for us or not.

There is a real scientific community, but it is pressganged and/or blackmailed into working in secret - the public version of 'science' is heavily controlled and largely nonsense - yes.
I know the types you're referring to. Guys like Theoria Apophasis on Youtube are busy literally rendering magnetic fields visible with simple inventions while Neil the-vacuous Tyson tells us all that the world is shaped like a pear lol.
