This is actually a very interesting statement:
Dark matter is not sensitive to electromagnetism....Electromagnetism is indeed connected to light, and dark contrasts with light.

Maybe. I am however not aware of Buddhism telling anything about the microscopic world. Do you have any reference on this, by any chance?
